With space for up to 30 guests in our Stern hut as well as plenty of bookable tables, and delicious food and drinks packages, you’re bound to have a blast. From 1.5 magnums of wine and buckets of beer, to sharers and seasonal grazing stations, we have something that’ll tickle your fancy.

We may require a £100 deposit to secure your date. This can either be redeemed against your bill or refunded to the original payment card.
No. We might require a minimum spend, or ask for a small deposit, but we’ll never ask you to pay to hire a space.
Yes we do have wheel chair access to the pub and to certain parts of the garden. Unfortunately our garden huts are not wheel chair accessible.
We have limited onsite parking, but there is some pay for street parking on Ship Street and plenty of pay for parking at Queensway Car Park.
Absolutely. Whether it’s a coffee-and-catch-up meeting in the bar, or a more formal meet-up with a screen (and speedy WiFi) we can do that too.
Of course you are most welcome to book outside space at the pub. Whether it’s a table on the terrace, or one of our bookable huts (perfect for a special occasion) you’re spoiled for choice with outdoor space at our pub.
You’re more than welcome to decorate the space you’ve booked. We do ask that you tie decorations, rather than using Blu Tack or Sellotape, and we do not allow glitter or confetti.
You’re welcome to book your own DJ or being your own Bluetooth speaker if you’ve booked our Ashdown or Sussex room, but we reserve the right to control the volume. In all other areas, the pubs playlist will be played.
