Our halls are decked in true traditional Christmas style, the wine is mulling on the bar and there are mistletoe-wielding merry-makers and secret Santas in every corner of the pub.
Chef is cooking up all your festive favourites – crisp roast potatoes, all those naughty nibbly-bits, plus gallons of gravy, and (oh yes) there will be turkey. Lots of turkey.

Celebrate in the Sussex Room
This space is slightly separated from the rest of the pub, so you get to celebrate with your Christmas party-ers, but enjoying the festive buzz of the bar. Great for proper sit-down Christmas meals, and also for drinks and nibble parties too.

Party in the Ashdown Room
Perfect for getting the whole family together for a festive feast, or for hosting the big office Christmas party. This space is spot-on for both civilised sit-down suppers and more lively mingle-y bashes. For groups large or small.

Festive FAQs
Yep – we’re open and roasting from midday til 6pm. Christmas Day lunches must be pre-booked, but you’re welcome to rock up for a drink.
Oh yes. We love a big bash, especially at Christmas. You can host a sit-down dinner with up to 40 people or a drinks & nibbles party for up to 60 people.
We require a deposit pp to confirm your booking with us, then full pre-payment by 1st December 2025. This amount can either be redeemed against your bill, or refunded onto the original payment card after your party.
Yes, we require a pre-order for our Christmas Feast menu or for our Christmas sharers a minimum of 10 days before your booking with us. Please note, we may require a pre-payment for substantial pre-orders. For Christmas Day bookings we will require your pre-order a minimum of 14 days before the big day.
Absolutely! We’ll have crackers at the ready for all Christmas party bookings.
East Grinstead train station is a short walk away, which is spot on if you’re planning on having a few mulled wines.
Alternatively, there is parking nearby at Queensway.
